Its fall y’all. Time to break out the pumpkin. I thought about trying marbled brownies with a pumpkin cream cheese. These were quick and easy to whip up, and they taste amazing. Serve these for your holiday dinner or any day of the week. Here’s the recipe!
Pumpkin Cream Cheese Brownies
Pumpkin Cream Cheese
12 oz softened cream cheese
3/4 cup pumpkin
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Mix all the above together and set aside.
Brownies
1 cup butter
1 2/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
Icing
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon soft butter
add milk a teaspoon at a time until desired consistency
Chocolate jimmies to sprinkle on top
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave. Add the remaining ingredients stiriing until you have the thickness of icing you want.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix brownie ingredients together with a whisk and pour into a buttered and floured 9×13 pan. Place dollops of the pumpkin cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Using a knife swirl the pumpkin dollops into the brownie batter. Bake for 30-35 minutes, do not overcook. Let brownies cool, spread the icing and top with the jimmies. I could see topping these with ice cream too!
