Today’s post is a little different from what we usually share. If you’re a blogger, or would like to start a blog someday, this post is for you. For our nonblogging friends, we won’t be mad if you skip this one. We can hang out next week when we’ll be sharing a new DIY project.
Today’s project is part of our Monthly DIY Challenge series. If you’re new here, each month we get together with a few other fabulous bloggers to each make a project based on the same item or theme. This month we’re working with air dry clay.
We’re excited to be participating in the Makeover Madness furniture makeover blog hop today.
A few weeks ago our friend CoCo from The Crowned Goat asked us to participate in a blog hop with a few other furniture painters. The idea is that we each share some of our favorite tools for painting furniture. The tools and products we use most frequently. I loved the idea because even though we mention some of our favorite products in each tutorial, we don’t have a list of our favorite products all in one place on the blog. I’m also looking forward to finding new products to try from the other painters participating.

If you’re new around here, each month we get together with a group of talented furniture painters, and each create a project based on the same theme. This month our theme is “neutrals”, and as always, it’s open to interpretation by the participants.
