Is anyone else excited for spring and warmer weather? I don’t have too many spring decor items, and decided to make this easy no-sew bunny silhouette pillow to brighten up the house. (Stick around after the tutorial for a fun giveaway too!)

For this project, you will need a Silhouette machine. We have the Cameo.
We started with the VIGDIS pillow cover and FJADRAR pillow form from IKEA. We found the fabric for the bunny and the tail at JoAnn’s.
We purchased the bunny silhouette from The Silhouette Store here.
To create the bunny, we cut our tan bunny fabric to a 12×12 square (because this is the size of our cutting mat). We attached the fabric to the smooth side of the fusible web, then ironed it to permanently adhere the fabric to the fusible web. If you don’t iron first, the fabric could shift around in your cutting machine.
Next, cut the bunny out with your silhouette machine. We had to have our blade on 10 to cut through the fabric properly. (Also, before cutting the fabric, we cut bunnies out on regular copy paper so we could figure out what size we wanted for our pillow).
While the bunny was cutting, I ironed my pillow cover to remove any wrinkles. And once the bunny was cut out, I ironed it onto the pillow cover. I made a fabric flower for the tail and hot glued it in place. I tried hand stitching the tail on and it just wasn’t working, but the hot glue worked perfectly.
