It’s the first Monthly DIY Challenge of 2016! If you’re new around here, each month we get together with some of our favorite blogging friends to do a DIY challenge. We come up with a theme or object to work around, then we each create our own DIY project based on that theme. The challenges are fun and they definitely push us to think outside of the box.
This month we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of doing a new project, we decided to each choose our favorite Monthly DIY Project from last year, and we also wanted to give our blogging friends who aren’t regular participants in the challenge the chance to share their favorite post from 2015 as well.
Now you may be wondering where the challenge is in that :). And I agree with you. But the holidays were such a crazy busy time that we decided to take it easy on ourselves. Next month we’re kicking it up a notch and have some great challenge themes in store for 2016.
So without further ado, here are our favorite Monthly DIY Challenge posts from 2015, and if you’re a blogger, don’t forget to share your own favorite post below! We’ll be sharing the projects you link up on our social media pages over the next few weeks.

Hi Viky and Amy,
I really like the bedroom canopy and just curious to know how it feels to sleep in a paradise bedroom 🙂 I am really obsessed with it and will surely try this one day. Thanks a lot for sharing and keep the creative DIYs coming.
