Good morning! Sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately! We’ve been super busy getting into a back to school routine, but I promise we have lots of projects lined up to share with you! One of the projects I’m currently working on is decor for our family room. I tend to gravitate toward neutral colors and natural fabrics. I like the way they make a room feel clean, cozy and inviting. I thought I’d share my family room inspiration board with you, and next week we’ll be back with some DIY projects, some of which were pulled right from this board!
1. Vintage French Grain Sack Pillows from Restoration Hardware
2. Set of 3 Metal Arrows from Painted Fox
3. Braided Storage Basket from West Elm
4. Alexis Table Lamp from Joss & Main
5. Cozy Cable Knit Throw from Pottery Barn
6. Boxwood Topiaries from Ballard Designs
So what’s your decor style? Do you go for neutrals like me? Sophisticated black and white? Or do bright, bold colors make your heart sing? I hope you have a fantastic weekend. We’ll be back Monday with a little behind the scenes tour of Canary Street Crafts!
Wanna hang out more? We do too! Join the fun on our Facebook and Google+ pages. Get behind the scenes scoop on our latest projects on Instagram, or check out the best pins on Pinterest with us!
We link up at these fun parties!

Amy can I come live with you?! Seriously LOVE your style! I have been eye-ing those pillows from Restoration Hardware for awhile now but just can’t justify paying that much for a PILLOW!! And that cable knit throw <3 <3 <3 I can not wait to see your room all together!

Sydney, YES you can move in!! I’ve been to your blog and I’ve seen all the yummy food you cook. You be in charge of the cooking and I’ll be in charge of pinning more gorgeous stuff to our inspiration board, haha! Btw, those expensive RH pillows…I’m currently working on a knock-off DIY version. I made 4 of them for under $20! I’ll be sharing it soon 🙂
