A couple weeks ago I shared my Family Room Inspiration Board which included these grain sack pillows from Restoration Hardware. I wasn’t loving the $59 a piece price tag, and decided to try making my own version of a French Grain Sack Pillows using inexpensive drop cloth.

Family Room Inspiration Board
Good morning! Sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately! We’ve been super busy getting into a back to school routine, but I promise we have lots of projects lined up to share with you! One of the projects I’m currently working on is decor for our family room. I tend to gravitate toward neutral colors and natural fabrics. I like the way they make a room feel clean, cozy and inviting. I thought I’d share my family room inspiration board with you, and next week we’ll be back with some DIY projects, some of which were pulled right from this board!
School Year Memory Book
We’re so excited to be participating in a Back To School Blog Hop, put together by our friends at Elizabeth Joan Designs! Stick around til the end of the post for links to more great projects!
Last year was Sam’s first year of preschool. I saved a bunch of his artwork and pictures that were taken throughout the year…and they’re all still sitting in a box. My follow through is less than desired when it comes to doing something with all the pictures I take. I don’t want to leave these keepsakes in the box, so I definitely needed a better way to stay on top of it all.
Vintage Airplane Bedroom
I’m so excited to share Sam’s vintage airplane bedroom makeover with you today! Sam is four years old, and I wanted something that was appropriate for his age but not childish, so he would be able to grow with it. He chose the airplane theme and we went from there.
