Remember the ship dresser I shared a couple years ago? I realized I never showed you how I attached the rope handles, and I wanted to share that with you today.
DIY Rustic Shelf
Have you ever been so sure you wouldn’t be able to do something that you didn’t even try? That’s how I felt about building furniture. I thought there was no way I’d be able to build a usable piece of furniture on my own. The plans intimidated me and I just thought it would be too hard or would end up looking like a piece of abstract art.
Easy Scrap Wood And Burlap Picture Frame
Remember when forever ago I mentioned working on a nautical themed bedroom for Max? I am the world’s slowest decorator, but we’ve been making decent progress. I’ll do a quick post next week to show you guys where we’re at. In the meantime, I wanted to share these super easy and inexpensive picture frames I made to hang in his room.

Progress On The Patio
Thank you to Cost Plus World Market for sponsoring this post.
I really haven’t shown you guys too many photos of my home. Mostly because I tend to feel inadequate compared to some of the stunning rooms other bloggers share. Sometimes I feel like I have a decorating black thumb. I’m trying to get over that though, and start sharing more of my home and decor projects. I thought the best place to dip my toe in the water would be to share the progress on our patio.
Easy Image Transfer Flower Pots
This is a project I shared a couple years ago, and I wanted to revive it for our May Monthly DIY Challenge. Our challenge item this month is flower pots/planters.
