Affiliate links: Not all of our links are affiliate links, but we do use them in some of our posts. Currently, if it’s a link to Amazon, it’s almost absolutely an affiliate link. A link to any other website is not an affiliate link.
Why use affiliate links? Because it’s an easy way to help fund a small amount of what it costs to run this website. If you purchase something through one of our affiliate links, Amazon gives us a small percentage of whatever you spend. Using affiliate links are free for you and free for us.
When we post about a specific product or tool, we like to provide a link so you can see exactly what we’re talking about. If we’re going to share a link with you anyway, we might as well make it an affiliate link and allow Amazon to compensate us for bringing you to their site. That being said, we only link to products we personally use and love. We also link to many items that aren’t affiliate links, because our goal when providing a link is to show you the exact product or tool we’re using. Sometimes we buy things from a specific retailer or a small independent crafter, so that’s what we link to. We have absolutely no expectation for you to purchase any of the products we link to. If you do happen to be in the market for something we link to on Amazon, know that if you make your purchase after clicking on one of our links, you’re directly supporting this website and we thank you!
If you have any questions about our affiliate links, or anything else regarding our site, feel free to email us.
