Have you ever been so sure you wouldn’t be able to do something that you didn’t even try? That’s how I felt about building furniture. I thought there was no way I’d be able to build a usable piece of furniture on my own. The plans intimidated me and I just thought it would be too hard or would end up looking like a piece of abstract art.
Remember when forever ago I mentioned working on a nautical themed bedroom for Max? I am the world’s slowest decorator, but we’ve been making decent progress. I’ll do a quick post next week to show you guys where we’re at. In the meantime, I wanted to share these super easy and inexpensive picture frames I made to hang in his room.
Thank you to Cost Plus World Market for sponsoring this post. All opinions of pretty patio decor are entirely my own.
I really haven’t shown you guys too many photos of my home. Mostly because I tend to feel inadequate compared to some of the stunning rooms other bloggers share. Sometimes I feel like I have a decorating black thumb. I’m trying to get over that though, and start sharing more of my home and decor projects. I thought the best place to dip my toe in the water would be to share the progress on our patio.
This is a project I shared a couple years ago, and I wanted to revive it for our May Monthly DIY Challenge. Our challenge item this month is flower pots/planters.
Are you guys enjoying the gorgeous spring weather in your neck of the woods? My kids are loving the warmer temps and have been playing outside from the minute they get home from school until I finally make them come in for the night.
